Why Biological Treatment Technology are Needed

The physiological function of microbial metabolism is used to oxidize and break down organic matter in the environment and convert it to stable inorganic matter, i.e., complete degradation. Test Items before Water Treatment

1. Organic matter type (chemical composition, physical and chemical properties, concentration, coexisting substrates, etc.)

2. Microbial species and activity (source, number, relationship between species and age of microorganisms, etc.)

3. System environment (pH, temperature, nutrients, etc.).

4. Reactor performance tests. An efficient reactor should be able to maintain the maximum amount of microorganisms and their activity, to supply oxygen or isolate oxygen effectively, and to make good mass transfer conditions with sufficient contact between microorganisms, oxygen and organic matter in the wastewater.

Biological Treatment Process Design
