In water treatment, Zinc Phosphate Hydrate is used as a corrosion inhibitor in cooling towers, heat exchangers, and closed-loop systems. The hydrated form allows for easier dissolution and dosing, especially in large-scale operations. By forming a microcrystalline barrier on metallic surfaces, it reduces wear and prevents metal ion release into the treated water. It can be applied in both preventative maintenance programs and as part of corrective treatment for systems showing early signs of corrosion.
