Properties
ATMP has good chelating, low limit inhibition and lattice distortion ability. It can prevent the formation of scale salts in water, especially the formation of calcium carbonate scale. ATMP has good chemical stability and is hard to be hydrolyzed in water. When the water concentration is high, it shows a good corrosion inhibition effect. ATMP is used in circulating cooling water of thermal power plants and oil refineries, also in oil field water injection system, to play a role in reducing the corrosion and scaling of metal equipment or piping. ATMP is used as metal ion chelating agent or metal surface treatment agent in the textile printing and dyeing industry. The solid state of ATMP is crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, easy to absorb moisture, and easy to be transport and used, especially suitable for cold winter areas.

Application
ATMP is usually used together with organophosphoric acid, polycarboxylic acid and salt to built all organic alkaline water treatment agent. ATMP can be used in many different circulating cool water system. The dosage of 1-20 mg/L is recommended. As corrosion inhibitor, the dosage of 20-60 mg/L is preferred.
