Properties
EDTMPS is a nitrogen-containing organic polybasic phosphonic acid, and belongs to cathodic corrosion inhibitors. Compared with inorganic polyphosphate, its corrosion rate is 3~5 times better than them. EDTMPS can be fully dissolved in water, innocuous and has none pollution to environment, with good chemical stability and thermal tolerance. EDTMPS shows excellent scale inhibition ability under temperature 200°C.
Storage
Storage in shady room and dry place.
pH of 1% solution
9.5-10.5
Application
EDTMPS can be used as 7310 in circulating cool water system and boiler water, as complexing agent in non-cyanogen electroplating industry, as chelating agent and oxygen bleaching stabilizer in textile printing and dyeing industry.
Appearance
Yellow to umber transparent liquid
