Properties
PBTC has low content of phosphorus. Its structural property of both phosphonic acid and carboxylic acid enables PBTC to have excellent scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition performance, and to be better than the commonly used organic phosphonic acid, especially at high temperature condition. PBTC can improve the solubility of zinc, and has good chlorine oxidation tolerance and good composite synergy.
Storage
Storage in shady room and dry place.
pH of 1% solution
1.5~2.0
Application
PBTC is most widely used in the combination of high efficiency scale and corrosion inhibitors, as one of the best chemicals, and it is also excellent stabilizer of zinc salt. PBTC is widely used as 7310s in circulating cooling water system and oilfield water injection systems, and is especially suitable for use with zinc salt and copolymer. It can be used in the situation of high temperature, high hardness, high alkali and high concentration times. PBTC can be used as chelating agent and metal cleaning agent in washing industry.
Appearance
Clear, colorless to pale yellow aqueous solution
